Corporations must safeguard proprietary information inside the workplace and out. One of the major means of keeping company secrets inside the company is to make sure that those entering the building have proper identification. More times than not, an individual needs to wear the identification in a visible place at all times assuring they are authorized to be in that location. Photo ID’s are only part of the solution. How they are displayed on an individual’s person is another important consideration.
Visitors to corporate buildings and offices need to be identified upon entering the facilities. Often they are given temporary visitor badges once they have been cleared as having valid business in the building. Many times these temporary badges are adhesive backed stick on badges with the person’s name and company preprinted on or even hand written. The cost of supplying each visitor a permanent type badge is usually cost prohibitive.
Giving people identification badges that are printed on paper and slipped into plastic holders are just not secure enough for today’s workplace and conference area. All too easily these badges are lost on the floor, easily picked up by people walking about in unsecured areas. Proximity card holders offer the economical way to secure and protect ID’s printed on paper or card stock. Each of the three sized Proximity Holders come with a special slot for the identification and a means of locking it in be either a chain, lanyard or pin. This keeps the ID from sliding out and ending up in the wrong hands.
